CEREC is a simple procedure that happens while you relax in the chair. The tooth is scanned after the dental decay/filling is removed. Next, the 'shape and fit' data is programmed into the computer, to be fabricated by the milling machine and then the completed filling is cemented into the tooth.

CEREC is stronger, more aesthetically pleasing, fits better and lasts longer than those made by a dental technician from an impression. It's the ideal replacement for old amalgam fillings.
